The 2.6 Challenge – Calling all Home Heroes
Join Team Hibbs Lupus Trust and make a difference to the lives of people living with lupus!
Now more than ever, people with lupus need our support. So, if you can make a donation (big or small), it would mean the world to us. You could even go one step further by creating a JustGiving page, collecting donations from family and friends too.
Join the rest of the nation in the 2.6 Challenge, whether you're running around the balcony for 2.6 miles, doing 26 press ups with the dog on your back or bench pressing 26 kilos with your children, we need your support!
How do I get involved?
No need to be a marathon runner to take part – this is a challenge for all ages and abilities. Just get thinking of an activity based around the numbers 26 or 2.6 and complete it on or from Sunday April 26.
It could be something as simple as running 2.6 miles, 26 minutes of yoga, or juggling for 26 minutes – or on second thoughts, maybe just 2.6 minutes! Check out this guide for more ideas and inspiration.
And don’t worry if you’re not able to get out of your house or flat for now. We’re not looking for superheroes – we’re looking for Home Heroes.
There are no rules (apart from the Government guidelines on how to exercise safely during this time). Whatever you can do, you can be part of it – the main thing is getting active, having fun and donating whatever you can to help support The Hibbs Lupus Trust.
Help to inspire the nation by sharing pictures or videos of your challenge on social media using the official hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge along with #TeamHibbsLupusTrust so we can cheer you on.
