Today on the 2nd anniversary of the first UK lockdown, we, along with 70 other organisations reflect on the toll that Covid has taken, and continues to take on people throughout the country.
Two years on, the government have just launched their ‘Living with Covid’ plan which involves lifting most of the protective measures put in place to help keep the virus from spreading.
This shared statement has been signed by 70 organisations including National Voices and Healthwatch England. Through working with and listening to their 190 members and the communities they support, National Voices have identified four key priorities that now need to be addressed.
These are:
- Access to health and care
- Mental health
- Long Covid
- Inequalities
