It is with great sadness we are announcing that our World Lupus Day Walk 2020 will not go ahead on Sunday 10 May 2020.
We would like to say how sorry we are, and to thank everyone for your passion, enthusiasm and support in the lead up to the walk. We know you, our wonderful supporters, will be as disappointed as we are.
Ever since The Hibbs Lupus Trust was founded in October 2011, our World Lupus Day Walk has brought together the lupus community in a day of celebration and awareness that has reached around the world. But we know you will agree that under the current circumstances, it is the right thing to do.
We will start to process refunds as quickly as possible this week but in the mean time, if you have any questions please contact us.
The UK is entering a long period of self isolation and social distancing, with lupus patients amongst the group most ‘at risk’. In case you haven’t seen it, please take a look at our latest advice. We continue to keep this regularly updated.
Our small team have been working tirelessly in recent days and weeks to support our lupus community through this difficult period. We know this uncertain time is causing anxiety and we just wanted to say we are here for you.
Thank you for your patience, support and understanding during this extraordinary and challenging situation.
John & Viki.
