London to Geneva Cycle

London to Geneva Cycle - The Hibbs Lupus Trust Our London to Geneva cycle challenge combines our iconic London to Paris and Paris to Geneva cycling challenges to make one ultimate challenge. Cycling 666 miles over 10 days on this two stage cycling tour, you’ll have the opportunity to watch the final stage of the Tour de France live in the heart of Paris – its a cycling adventure that’s one of a kind!

Stage One is the London to Paris leg of the challenge, we’ll spend 4 days in the saddle with the route taking us through glorious English countryside as we cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel to Calais. Once across the water we start cycling ‘French style’, remembering to keep to the right!, we push on cycling along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France, passing the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. A spectacular finish awaits us as we reach the home stretch up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, before reaching the piece de resistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks our finish line of stage one of the challenge.

Then we enjoy a well deserved rest day in Paris, a chance watch the peloton race into the city for the final stage of the Tour de France or explore Paris – the choice is yours!

Stage Two is the Paris to Geneva leg of the challenge, we’ll hop back onto the saddle and spend a further 4 days riding across stunning French countryside, through medieval towns, crossing through the famous vineyard regions of Burgandy and Champagne. We then pass through the charming Roman Spa town of Lons-le-Saunier, which marks the start of the epic finish to this challenge – to conquer the Jura Mountains! Without doubt the feeling of tackling the hair pin bends of Col de la Faucille (1,232m) will never be forgotten, but the downhill from this Tour de France Col straight into Geneva is where we’ll witness breath-taking vistas as far as the eye can see! We then celebrate our achievements with a fantastic finish on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Join us for a spectacular cycling challenge like no other.
