Despite the wet and windy conditions, the atmosphere this morning was nothing short of incredible. Participants, volunteers, and supporters came together, proving once again the power of community in raising awareness and vital funds for lupus.
A heartfelt thank you to every single runner, walker, and cheerleader who braved the weather to join us. Your smiles, determination, and energy turned a gloomy day into a celebration of hope and support.
We also want to give a special shoutout to our incredible volunteers, led by the amazing Kellie, who worked tirelessly to ensure the event ran smoothly. From setting up the course to handing out water and cheering on participants, your dedication made this event possible.
This year, we were once again delighted to have the support of Avara Foods, who generously donated a turkey to all of our participants! Your contribution brought an extra festive touch to the day, and we are so grateful for your continued partnership in making this event special.
The effort everyone put in was truly inspiring. We saw incredible costumes that brought color and creativity to the day, personal milestones being smashed, and so many heartwarming moments of encouragement and teamwork.
This event wasn’t just about running—it was about coming together as a community. Together, we raised vital funds that will help us continue our mission to support those affected by lupus and increase awareness of this life-changing condition.
To everyone who participated, donated, or simply showed up to cheer others on: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You’re making a real difference.
