The Big Bird 5km Run 2023

The Big Bird Run - The Hibbs Lupus Trust 3

The Hibbs Lupus Trust is delighted to announce the return of The Big Bird 5km Run in 2023! This spectacular event, hosted by our fantastic supporter Kellie, is set to take place at 10 am on Sunday, 26th November 2023, in Wolverhampton’s East Park.

We look back on last year’s run with immense gratitude. The energy, camaraderie, and community spirit that was on full display during the run was truly awe-inspiring and made the event an incredible success. This year, we’re excited to recreate this atmosphere, and we can’t wait for you to join us.

As a unique incentive and a nod to the festive season, all those who cross the finish line will receive a frozen turkey, generously donated by Avara Foods. This is a fun, unique touch that adds a dash of seasonal cheer to our event.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support and contribution of some incredible people and organisations. We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to Kellie and her wonderful family, whose dedication and hard work are the driving force behind this fantastic event. Their commitment to our cause is truly heartwarming.

A special mention also goes to Phoenix Road Runners, whose support has been fundamental to the success of the run.

Finally, we’d like to thank Avara Foods for their kind turkey donations. Your generosity adds a unique element to our event, and we appreciate your support.

So, lace up your running shoes and mark your calendars for The Big Bird 5km Run 2023! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a novice on the field, this event is open to all. Not only will you be partaking in a fun-filled run, but you’ll also be supporting a cause that makes a real difference in the lives of those living with lupus.
