TrekFest is here for 2013 and this year is going bigger and better! The event is organised by our fundraising partner Global Adventure Challenges.

TrekFest is more than an endurance challenge…

it’s an adventure; it’s a journey, its life-changing.

54 miles in 24 hours
OR
27 miles in 12 hours

Choose your distance & trek for The Hibbs Lupus Trust!

TrekFest invites you to tackle some of the best walking trails the UK has to offer – the challenge being for everyone to complete the route within the allotted time frame. The TrekFest routes are as breathtaking, as they are challenging.

TrekFest 2013 promises to be emotional, fun and life-changing – we assure you. And what’s more, you will be supporting The Hibbs Lupus Trust. Whatever your reasons for taking on this challenge, whatever you motives, TrekFest will deliver and provide you with one of those of moments in life where anything is possible…if you put your mind to it.

The Challenge

The TrekFest challenge is simple – each walker must make their way around the 54 mile route within 24 hours. For those of you after a slightly less taxing route, we are offering a 27 mile route with a target time of 12 hours.

Located in the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park, training ground to the SAS, TrekFest Brecon’s offers some amazing scenery whilst at the same time providing you with an exhilarating mental and physical challenge. Crossing the highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons and South Wales – Pen y Fan (886m), Corn Du (873m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m) we assure you TrekFest – The Brecon’s is set to be another amazing weekend.

New for 2013! Our new addition to the TrekFest series will see us in the Peak District! Being Britain’s first National Park, the Peak District is said to be one of the most beautiful and inspiring parts of the British Isles. The impressive network of footpaths and bridleways makes this location perfect for TrekFest. Starting and finishing at our TrekFest village in Hope Valley, the route will take you around the best and most breathtaking part of this amazing national park.

Being a walker…

We are not going to lie to you, TrekFest is tough. However, with the correct training and with our expert support it IS achievable. The elation and emotion you’ll feel after crossing the finish line will be a feeling hard to match, or to describe.
